Dialectic is managed and published with the support of the AIGA and its diverse membership of over 25,000 professional designers, design educators and students from 70 chapters located around the U.S.

Additionally, Dialectic is rendered as an openly accessible, scholarly journal by Michigan Publishing, the hub of scholarly publishing at the University of Michigan and a dynamic and innovative part of its University Library. Michigan Publishing advocates for the broadest possible access to scholarship around the world, and seeks to create innovative, sustainable structures for the broad dissemination and enduring preservation of scholarly dialogue.
